“New Beginnings”

The two time Sunday Times bestselling author, Anne Nolan. The eldest of the Irish institution that is The Nolans, has just released the sequel to her 2008 autobiography.

New Beginnings was released on May 20th 2023 by Pressman House. The book picks up where her first autobiography, Anne’s Song, left off, with Anne speaking in depth about family feuds, the pain of losing her younger sister Bernie, reconciling with her sisters, and embarking on their smash hit reality series ‘The Nolan’s Go Cruising’.

In 2020 Anne was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, a fight she knew all too well having beaten breast cancer twenty years earlier. Anne details the incredible twist of fate that saw her enduring chemotherapy alongside her younger sister Linda, whose own cancer had spread.

Ahead of her book launch Anne said, “I’m so glad to be coming home to launch my book, I’ve spent so much time here since my illness. This book has been in the works for the last 6 years and at one stage was thrown in a drawer, never to be released. However, now I’m in my seventh decade, I feel the need to tell my own story on what happened during certain times in my life.”

In this, her second autobiographical book after her best selling Anne’s Song, Anne Nolan continues to entertain her readers in the true Nolan way: Lots of pizzazz, huge entertainment and a privileged glimpse into the family lives, fun times, and trials of Anne and her sisters.

Anne is a natural entertainer; so too is she a gifted and effortless writer. It feels like we are sitting across from Anne in the living room, listening to her tell her life story. It is this accessibility and her honesty that make this book so enchanting.

Although not without its sad moments and trying times, New Beginnings is ultimately a tale of a special person, Anne, who comes from the irrepressible Nolan clan with all their artistic gifts and huge personalities. She keeps the show going in true showbiz style.

Anne had a busy schedule during the launch and the following are some of the events that she attended.

 

Saturday, May 20th, 2023  –  Formal launch of New Beginnings with a book signing at Waterstones in Blackpool beginning at 12.30 pm

During the evening she hosted an evening with fellow celebrities and the media together with her sisters.

Monday, 22nd May, 2023 – She appeared on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ programme with Dermot O’Leary & Alison Hammond

Wednesday, 24th May, 2023– She appeared on ‘Jeremy Vine Show’ on Channel 5 in the morning.

She is planning to join Eamon Holmes & on GB News.

In between the above TV appearances, whe will be doing several radio and press interviews while in London together with podcasts throughout the book launch.

Thursday, 25th May, 2023 – Flew to Dublin for the ‘The Six O’Clock Show’ – Virgin One (Ireland).
